Ladies Golf Results – Tuesday 16th March 2021

What a fabulous day it was for golf yesterday for the 1st round of the 9 & 18-hole 4BBB Stableford Club Championships. There were 48 ladies on course competing for the trophies on offer so another excellent turn out. Congratulations to the ground staff who have the course looking in spectacular condition. Well done to all those who played & congratulations to all the winners below:

18 Hole Event – 28 Players

Winners ($20 voucher each): Joan Spence (30) & Viv Goodson (36) 42 points.

Runners Up (2 balls each): Judith Whittaker (27) & Denise Law (29) 41 points on count back from Maureen Cousins & Cheryl Westcott & Joan Coombs & Deb Sein so a very close contest!

Pro Ball Winners (40 points or better): Maureen Cousins/Cheryl Westcott, Joan Coombs/Deb Sein & Barbara Bright/Linda Fredricson. Helen Danson & Jean Harle just missed out on count back, sorry ladies!

9 Hole Event – 20 Players

Winners ($20 voucher each): Enid Hamilton (45) & Glenn Barber (44) 22 points.

Runners Up (2 balls each): Susan Driver (45) & Lee Grubb (42) 20 points on count back from Jan Shaw & Angie Hunter and Ros Champion/Pat Webster, so another tight contest.

Pro Ball winners (20 points or better): Jan Shaw/Angie Hunter & Ros Champion/Pat Webster.

For those not able to stay for the presentation, please note that all ball prizes are in the Pro Shop for you to collect.

NTP Lucky Card Draw: Anne Anderson & Sue Gordon who each won a ball.

Kim Plumridge will be at the clubhouse next week to display Arbonne health & beauty products & will give a quick presentation to you all prior to presentations.

Another reminder to all players that for any trophy or championship event, all players must hit from the red blocks.

Please always take a sand bucket with you too & fill in divots on the fairways even if they are not yours. As advised yesterday all players should carry a pitch repairer to fix pitch marks on the green as by doing this the course will remain in such fabulous condition. Thanks ladies.

I did forget to mention yesterday that effective from Tuesday the 6th April the competition fees will increase to $10 for the 18-hole players & $7 for the 9-hole players. Along with this fee increase the prize money will increase to reflect this change.

Remember to book by Thursday night for next Tuesday 23rd March when it is the 2nd round of the 4BBB Stableford Club Champs for all players. The 18 hole ladies will start on the back 9 next week so the 9 hole ladies can play this 9 to complete their championship event.

The draw for next will be emailed to everyone entered on Friday morning & will also be in One Golf. Enjoy the rest of the week & I’ll see many of you at the Pro Am over the weekend. The weather looks good so it should be a great event to attend.
