Ladies Pennant Results – Friday 2nd March

After an unexpected but amazing win at home on the 22nd February, the team came back to earth when they played Cape Monnah (a combined team of Cape Schanck & Moonah Links players) at Cerberus where they lost 7-0. The result was not a surprise given the handicaps of our opponents ranged from 4.4 to 20.4! In comparison the Safety Beach ladies’ handicaps ranged from 19.4 to 34.7. Special mention to Colleen Warfield who lost 3&2 against an opponent with a handicap 16 shots better, so a superb effort Colleen. Other results with all losses as mentioned above were: Barbara Bright 7&5, Linda Fredricson 6&4, Jenny Dovison 8&7, Lyn Greer 9&7, Kim Reynolds 7&5, Cathy Roussis 8&7. All players performed well above their handicaps against a strong team so should be proud of their efforts.
