Ladies Golf

We were only able to play a 9 hole competition today due to the course conditions. There were 17 ladies who played on Tuesday in the ‘Par – Secret Partners Competition’ with the results as follows:

Winners
Sue Simpson, square and Glenn Barber, 2 down. Overall total 2 down. You both get 2 balls as your prize this week plus pro ball. Well done Sue on a great score!

Runners Up

Helen Danson, 3 down Linda Fredricson, 2 down. Overal 5 down. Prize is a ball each.
Helen & Linda were runners up on countback from Jean Harle & Shirley Gray and Cathy Roussis & Joan Spence.

New Events Coming Up

Mornington GC Challenge Bowl on Thursday 20th October, 3 person team handicap competition with best aggregate the winner. $90 per team (incl.lunch) which the club will pay and this one is a 9am shotgun start.
Cardinia Beaconhills Challenge Bowl on Monday 28th November, handicap limit 44. This is a 3 person individual stable event with a 9am shotgun start & is $40 per team which the club will pay.
Please advise if you are interested in either of these events as we should always try & support other clubs in our district.

Raffle & Norm`s Rambling

There was no raffle this week as Norm has taken time of with his good lady. I am not sure if it was his first, second third or fourth honeymoon but I hope he has a good time. As sure as Norm is Norm he will have.
